EQ2 combines my background in branding and coaching with wisdom gained from managing my own holistic practice for more than two decades. I’ve seen massive technology shifts over that time, as I built websites for clients through my creative agency and later for myself when I launched my coaching practice.
About 10 years ago, I chose Squarespace for my own website and my agency clients, like this one.
Now, I’m thrilled to share EQ2 with soul-proprietors in my community.
EQ2 puts your holistic practice online — swiftly, beautifully, and easily.
As the name implies, EQ2 branding and websites are emotionally intelligent… because you are and so is the work we’ll do together helping your business shine!
EQ2 websites are super streamlined, with just enough content and functionality to get your holistic practice up and running. Less overwhelm for you and a clear pathway for your prospective clients.

Your EQ2 site experience will include
A discovery questionnaire for you to complete so we can hone in on your brand.
A 1-hour strategy+branding+coaching session with me to get us started.
Branding visuals: I will choose colors, typography, and stock images that align with your energy and your offering. Please note that this does not include logo design. If you desire a custom logo, word mark or illustration, that would be a separate brand identity project.
Copy finessing: It would be wonderful if you provide copy (that means text) for your site. If you are not able to or are feeling stuck or uninspired, I will use ChatGPT to brainstorm draft copy, which I will then finesse.
A lead capture system: Your EQ2 site will collect emails from those who are interested in your services. We will choose the best lead capture system (Google, MailChimp, or Squarespace) based on your current needs.
A simple booking system: Your EQ2 site will allow prospective clients to book initial consultations with you using free tools that won’t add to your monthly overhead.
Two rounds of change: Once I present a draft of your EQ2 site, I will make up to two rounds of changes based on your feedback.
Implementation and handoff: I will build and launch your EQ2 site. You will always have full ownership of your website.

The entire EQ2 development process should take two weeks or less from day of our strategy session.

As part the process, you will provide:
A paid Squarespace subscription and domain name. I will guide you in setting this up.
Your completed brand discovery questionnaire.
At least one testimonial — this can be from one of your practice clients. Didn’t get one from a practice client during your training? Offer someone a free session in exchange for an honest review. More testimonials is even better.
A list of your credentials and qualifications — degrees, certifications, trainings that may or may not seem relevant. I promise! It’s all relevant.
A bio — this does not need to be perfect! I recommend you set a time for 10-minutes and free write. I can shape what emerges.
A photo of you — I highly recommend you hire a professional photographer for a headshot. When you are ready to expand your brand, I recommend investing in a full brand portrait photo session. The images will be so rewarding. But for now, a single quality photo will work beautifully.
Your presence to the process. While you won’t be designing or building your EQ2 site, your energy will be imbued into it! That’s the magic of it.

After your EQ2 site is complete, we can work together on other projects like
Maintaining and updating your site. I can teach you how to update your site on your own using Squarespace.
Managing and utilizing your email list. I can design and set up a system for you to send periodic emails to your list on your own using regular email, MailChimp, or Squarespace.
Business cards. I can design business cards for you and have them professionally printed and shipped to you.
Social media. I can help you strategize how to use social media to boost your business and integrate your social platforms with your site.
These and/or other additional projects would be estimated and billed separately from EQ2.

Since EQ2 is a pilot offering, the example below utilizes a fictitious persona, based on the kinds of soul-proprietors I serve in my coaching practice.

Meet Janet, energy healer and intuitive.
Janet needed a simple website to book consultations with prospective clients and to build her mailing list.
Janet has no brand assets, only a business concept she calls “Rooted Wellness.” For her EQ2 site, Janet provided a professional headshot, a testimonial, and some written notes. I used these, plus discoveries from our strategy session and Janet’s questionnaire, to build Janet’s website. Her EQ2 site uses stock images, typography, and colors to convey her vibe. Since she didn’t provide any website copy (text), I used ChatGPT to generate a draft, which I then finessed. Using free tools for bookings and her mailing list allows Janet to keep her overhead low. Once her site was built, her only cost is her Squarespace subscription fee which is $16 per month, paid annually.
It’s easy to get started with EQ2.
The EQ2 website development process is intended to make things exceptionally easy for you.

During the EQ2 pilot period, the fee to develop your EQ2 site is $1650.
Half of the fee ($825) is due when you sign up for EQ2. The remaining half is due the day we launch, assuming we launch within two weeks of our strategy session. Otherwise, the remaining half is due at that two week mark. The process works best when it can be completed swiftly!

You will need a Squarespace subscription and a domain name.
A “personal website” Squarespace subscription is $16 per month when paid annually or $25 per month when paid monthly. When you pay annually, you also receive a free domain name for a year through Squarespace. Domain names that end in .com are generally $20 per year.
Squarespace subscriptions, domain name registration, and any other subscription services are separate from the EQ2 fee and are paid directly to the provider(s).
Please note that Squarespace offers a wide range of functionality you may be interested in that all come with additional costs. Your EQ2 site is designed to be streamlined and simple and does not use their additional paid features.
